We correct factual errors promptly and openly. Read why in Why we will always show you our corrections.
How to report an error
Tell us through our contact page. Please include the article, what you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source for the correct information.
What we do
- An editor reviews the report and checks the facts.
- If we got something wrong, we fix the article.
- We add a dated note at the end of the article that says what was wrong and what we changed.
What we do not do
We do not quietly change facts without telling readers. Small fixes to spelling or grammar that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
